NASGRASS Members garner National Awards
|
Many of our NASGRASS racers have been competing on the USLMRA National circuit this season bringing home many trophies from these events scattered across the country! Many made the trip to Delaware Ohio for the "Stabil Keeps Gas Fresh" National Finals on Labor Day weekend. They once again showed the level of competiton we have down here in Florida with many bringing home Top Ten trophies! Our own Pat "The Rocketman" Sullivan not only won the A/P National Championship but brought home the coveted Dave Hertel Memorial "Mowtivation" Award for his professionalism and poise in racing! Joining Pat in bringing home a National Championship was Nolan Goad in the J/P Class!! Joining Nolan on the top of the podium in J/P were Kari Ast, and Nolan's sister Carrie Goad bringing home Second and Third to take the top spots in this first ever National season for the J/P class! In the IMOW Class, our Stock class, Pat's son in law (driving Pat's mower) won the Championship! I finished second in Championship points, and Pat ended up in 6th. In A/P Pat brought home his second straight Championship with his son Pete finishing in 4th! In S/P, our Outlaw Flathead, Kurt Ast finished in 8th and also was awarded the Rookie of the Year Award! In C/P, our Outlaw Overhead, Scott Thieme brought home 4th place. In B/P, our Outlaw Twins, Tom Ast brought home 3rd place, and Doc Kuhfeldt brought home 7th! In F/X, our Outlaw Overhead, Kyle Ast came in 3rd with Becky Kuhfeldt hot on his heals in 4th place! Congratulations to ALL our racers on these outstanding achievements! Mow Ya L8R, Sid
