USLMRA Triple Header Event!
|
In spite of the best efforts of mother nature the FIRST EVER USLMRA Triple Header Event was delayed only 1 1/2 hours due to the rains. The ability of the Hendry-LaBelle Mowersports Park to recover as quickly as it did was a testament to the construction by Brian Mount and Cobra Site Developement!!! The USLMRA National Event Staff, including National President Bruce Kaufman were inpressed with our entire organization from the track, to our racers helping with the event, to our Kid's Stock and Super Stock racers racing to give them a longer break, to the banquet after the race!!!
Event though the weather kept some racers from continuing to LaBelle the ones that did were amaized at the facility we have to race at, ALL said they had NEVER been so fast on their mowers!!! The spectator turnout was better than expected with the weather, and Healthy Startwas happy with their fund raising effort. The lighting donated by Neff Rentals, and arranged by Brian Mount, really worked out great! The event T-shirts made bt DJANS Embroidery, owned by Henry MacArty, were so awsome that the USLMRA will be using them as their event shirts all season with the back of the shirt being customized for each event. The front of the shirts shows our Kid's Stock and JP racers at the Hendry-LaBelle Mowersports Park.
This event allowed our club to show what we're made of, what we're capapble of, and that we are a top quality organization!!! My sincerest thanks to everyone that made it possible for this event to be the success that it was!
We had 58 racers from 7 states racing 67 mowers plus their pit crews, the USLMRA NAtional Event Staff, at least two newspapers, and many old NASGRASS racers on hand to be a part of this historic event!!

I just received the following information from Ted with Treasure HD that filmed the Magnificent Obsessions show. He was out of the country until Tuesday so he just received it too.
